Alternative Power Panel Blog

Birte Edwards here and welcome to my blog. I want to tell you a bit
about myself. It may be about alternative power sources, solar
energy, recycling,personal development,alternative medicine. But
that’s not who I am. That’s what I do …

I was born in Copenhagen, Denmark.
At quite a young age I got up and left Denmark, to settle in
Israel with my husband Steven. We created a family with two
children. Sadly, Steven is no longer with us. My children, Keren
and Guy are now grown, and Keren has established her own family,
and in the process given me two wonderful granddaughters.

For most of my life my profession was, and still is, as a tour
guide with visiting tourists, mainly from English speaking
countries. It’s a profession I love, as it gives me the chance to
interact with people and share so many things of value with a
great many people, such as the long history of this country and
region, its religions, its influence on the world and much more.

I strongly believe in the preservation of this Blue Planet. To
keep it blue we must make sure that it stays green. I promote the
use of alternative sources of energy, especially green sources
such as solar energy, wave energy, wind power and others. I also
believe that we should recycle as much as we can, and that the
best recycling is repeated use of materials such as plastic.

I have made a commitment to myself to get this message out to as
many as possible, and to make an impact that way.

I have been a practitioner of alternative medicine using massage,
reflexology and aromatherapies. I am also a Reiki Master.

I see myself as a student (and occasionally a teacher) of
metaphysics. I am especially interested in the influence of the
Bible, but never from an established religious understanding of
the Book. I have my own interpretations of many of the events
and stories and legends of the bible and their influences on our
lives till today.

Another field that is very dear to my heart, what is generally
known as Personal Growth and Empowerment, first working on my own
growth and empowerment, and through this coming to the
understanding that we need this in our fast changing world. Here I
have also made it a mission to assist others in this process, to
help us understand what influences us, how we can each choose what
works for us, and through this create the life that each of us
desire and deserve, with abundance, prosperity, joy and happiness.
