Solar and Wind Energy: Beating Rising Costs
Solar and Wind Home Generating Energy Systems
- product review
There is more and more talk about how to generate energy for home use. Not surprising with rising costs of energy for home use, not to mention the growing awareness in the need to change away from fossil fuels as our means of creating electricity.
Have you ever wondered - how can I reduce my energy bills? We have all come to associate energy with dollars. We are lucky that today there are ways of reducing our dependence on power suppliers (even when produced from renewable sources, help the environment or cutting those high payments by having their own home electricity system.
Well, there are plenty of products on the market today that give advice and instructions on how to create your own system of solar or wind energy through simple easy steps.
So how can we choose a product that gives what it promises?
In response to this I decided to take it upon myself to dig into this. This review will give you some insight into what I consider the two top products.
It boiled down to: earth4energy and homemadeenergy that seem to answer the questions usually asked when looking to install either solar panels or wind turbines.
Earth4Energy created by Michael Harvey
Michael has created an awesome product. It is clear that the creation of this product has come out of Michael Harvey’s disgust with high cost of energy. At the same time it is also clear that he has a true desire to advance renewable energy and help others achieve independence for energy suppliers.
This was the part that was less appealing to me, the rather aggressive approach to the issue of centralized energy supply.
Be that as it may, Earth4Energy does offer all the information needed to create a home wind or solar energy system.
* Easy to read and follow manual
* Information what materials are needed and where they can be obtained
* 60 day guarantee of 100% refund if you are not satisfied. What a relief
* Life time support through their website
* Additional bonuses for people interested in more expert knowledge
There should be an answer here for all with the intent on going green, and having own power system, whether for financial reasons, ecological reasons or technical challenge. The information comes to you as an e-book, and therefore readily available at all times.
Things that do not appeal to me on the website is the somewhat aggressive approach and the girl talking on the the page (you can silence her by clicking stop below her).
HomeMadeEnergy created by Bill Ford
Now this product creator also points out the ills of using fossil fuels, of being dependent on central energy sources, and the need to use renewable sources of energy and be self-sufficient. From the first glance and all the way through this is done in a softer style than the first (that appeals to me more).
Bill Ford, the creator of HomeMadeEnergy has an impressive background as a scientist, researcher, inventor and Founder of and Consultant of the company.
In a down to earth manner HomeMadeEnergy offers:
* Examples of successful implementation of their system in various parts of the world
* Clear instructions that are easy to follow for non-tech people
* Information that all materials can be purchased at any decent hardware store as well as what you need before you start
* Information on what system will work best for you depending on where you live and your climate zone
* Informtion on how to combine solar and wind system into one if conditions allow
* Guarantee of 100% refund after 60 days if not satisfied
* HomeMadeEnergy offers a membership site
This site also offers us all that is needed to build a home system with solar or wind energy. It’s all there, easy to understand explanations and drawings, information on what and where to obtain materials needed, testing and guarantees.
It is hard for me to find something I did not like about this site. It’s quiet assurance and down-to-earth approach appeals to me. But that’s my taste.
What to chose?
Two awesome informational products, very similar in content and in price though very different in approach.
In the long run it will be up to you to decide. I have provided links to both. Take a look at both, and the one that pleases you most - go for it. I will not say which of them is my favorite. What is important is that choosing one or the other gets you started on saving on high energy cost in an easy and affordable way.
